The Utah Cancer Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization that provides supportive, integrated services and programs for cancer patients and their families. While many worthy organizations are funding cancer research which will improve patient outcomes in the future, our primary focus is different. The monies raised by the Utah Cancer Foundation fund services that support patients who are confronting the challenges of cancer TODAY. Our focus is to support cancer patients and their families during diagnosis, treatment and recovery and to enhance their quality of life throughout these stages of the cancer experience. Ours is a collaborative effort as we work in partnership with experts, supporting organizations and local businesses to offer the supplemental programs and services patients and families need to cope with cancer. Our assistance is offered broadly and our programs are open to all interested participants. The Utah Cancer Foundation cares for patients first. Each individual is now, and will always be, our first priority.
The Utah Cancer Foundation was founded, and initially funded, by the physician partners of Utah Cancer Specialists who had a vision of an organization that would support people in our community who are confronting cancer TODAY. Their vision has become a reality and the Utah Cancer Foundation has become a viable community support organization for families throughout the Intermountain West.
