Our Programs

Our programs support cancer patients and their families during their cancer experience and through the stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery.  Some programs offer much needed practical and logistical help while others provide emotional support and/or education.  Many services are provided in conjunction with our community partners, others are facilitated by the staff of Utah Cancer Foundation.

Housekeeping Helpers

Fatigue is the most common side effect of cancer treatment, occurring in over 90% of patients.  To assist patients in dealing with this often overwhelming side effect, Housekeeping Helpers offers free housecleaning services to cancer patients undergoing active radiation or chemotherapy treatment.  Instead of vacuuming a room or cleaning the bathroom, our goal is to relieve cancer patients of their day-to-day stresses and energy-takers and allow them to focus precious energies on families and uplifting activities.

National and local companies partner with Utah Cancer Foundation to provide professional housecleaning services to patients, who receive up to 10 free housecleaning visits.  Housekeeping Helpers is offered on a first come first served basis and our service area is limited.  For more information and to find our how to register, please call the Foundation at 801-281-6861.

Housekeeping Helpers is funded entirely through donations from individuals and corporations.  To help, please contact us at 801-281-6861.  To make a secure online donation, please click here:  Online Donation Form.
