Our programs support cancer patients and their families during their cancer
experience and through the stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
Some programs offer much needed pratical and logistical help while others
provide emotional support and/or education. Many services are provided
in conjunction with our community partners; others are run by the staff
of Utah Cancer Foundation.
Utah Cancer Foundation offers a variety of support groups, including the
only support group in Utah for men with all types of cancer. We also offer
groups for patients dealing with advanced illness and unique support groups
for women such as the LeBed® Method and the Look Good…Feel
Better program. Please see our Calendar
for more information.
Knowledge about their disease can be very empowering for cancer patients
and we offer a variety of educational programs including a Chemotherapy
Class, Nutrition Education, Lymphedema Awareness, the LeBed®
Method and the Look Good…Feel Better program. Please
see our Calendar for a complete listing. Utah
Cancer Foundation also provides educational materials and information
about community resources for cancer patients and their families –
for more information; please contact our program director, Kathleen Grisley
at 281-6861 or kgrisley@utahcancerfoundation.org.

Utah Cancer Foundation is pleased to offer a variety of alternative and
complementary therapies that focus on the mind, body and spirit. These
therapies often enhance a patient’s quality of life and may even
complement their medical care. Therapies include Reiki Therapy, Integrated
Awareness®, Massage, Acupuncture, and Natural Solutions.
All therapies are offered free of charge. Our Calendar
provides a complete listing of these therapies and when they are offered.

Partnerships are essential to our success and the Utah Cancer Foundation
works closely with a number of community partners including Image
Reborn, Reel Recovery, Intermountain Therapy Animals, Heart and Soul,
the American Cancer Society, and the Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society. Please see our Calendar
for a listing of events and programs offered in conjunction with our community
partners.
Fatigue is the most common side effect of cancer treatment, occurring
in over 90% of patients. To assist patients in dealing with this often
